...and a bit of history.
Beach & Barnicott is a beautiful Grade II listed Bar and Restaurant in the centre of Bridport. It is a welcoming Georgian house with many rooms, on three floors, beautifully decorated in 18th Century style with original antique furnishings, all atmospherically lit with dozens of candles.
From 1766 to 1834 Beach and Barnicott ran a pharmacy close to the premises in Bridport (which is now the Cancer research shop). They were the successors to Doctor Giles L Roberts who was famous for his 'cure-all' tonic The Poor Man's Friend.
